又到了該死的情人節，這大概是最無聊排他性最強的一個節日了。聖誕節、過年都可以請沒有家人的朋友來家裡坐，約會帶朋友可是會免不了被另一半一陣毒打的，是吧，侃子？而且心心這心心那的，真他媽的土。（不過收到 Yoshio 的電子賀卡，開心！！還有一件讓我開心開心又開心的事情，那就是 Johnny 交到女朋友了，跟大家分享我的喜悅。）對了，大陸有光棍節呢，11.11 是大光棍節，既然有大光棍節，必然也有小光棍節 1.1 和中光棍節 11.1 啦 。Wikipedia 還跟我說，男的光棍稱為「光光」，女的則稱為「明明」，那麼我就在這個汙辱人的情人節中，祝所有光光、明明永遠光光明明！
附記：那一天大家會吃四根油條，因為油條長得最像 1 。有些人住的地方買不到油條，我建議吃 churros。
It's that damn Valentine's Day again. It's got to be one of the most exclusive and boring holidays on planet Earth. You can always invite friends without family to come home for Christmas or the New Year, but who could invite a friend to a date without getting a beating from the other half? Am I right, Hung Kan? All the hearts give me the creeps too. (But I got an ecard from Yoshio, happy!! Oh, one fantastic piece of news to share: Johnny's seeing someone now. Happy happy and extremely happy.)
By the way, did you know there's a Single's Day in China? 11.11 is Large Single's Day, and since there is Large Single's Day, there must also be Small Single's Day on 1.1 and Medium Single's Day on 11.1. As Wikipeida told me, male singles are called "Guang Guang", or "Light Light" in literal translation, and female singles are called "Ming Ming", or "Bright Bright". So, Vive le Guang Guangs and Ming Mings!
ps. On that day everyone eats four Chinese donuts, because it looks like "1". For those who do not live in a place where Chinese donut is available, I suggest churros.
